Radiology
- The internship programme in Radiology lasts 1.5 years
- The internship programme includes an educational and practical component. The practical component is provided by the internship base - the Dobrobut clinic network. The educational component is implemented by the Department of General Medicine of the Dobrobut Academy. The programme is supervised by the assistant of the department, Oleg Goroshenko.
- Interns of this specialisation will have the opportunity, among other things:
- Gain knowledge of contrast agents used in radiological diagnostics, their side effects, learn to predict risks and select research methods based on the risk/benefit ratio;
- Gain knowledge of the principles of research, learn to work at the CT, MRI console, monitor the work of an X-ray technician, correct his/her mistakes, and perform complex research independently;
- Learn to communicate with clinicians in the format of daily work, consultation, clinical analysis, gain knowledge of the use of standardised radiological classifications, and assess the response of diseases to treatment;
- The educational programme of the internship in Radiology includes the following educational components:
- Radiology;
- Radionuclide diagnostics;
- Radiotherapy;
- Medical communication;
- Emergency medicine;
- Military medical training;
- Particularly dangerous infectious diseases;
- Medical law;
- Medical informatics and statistics;
- Immunology.
