This course will be delivered entirely in English. The instructors are Ukrainian, and we warmly welcome participants with any level of English proficiency.

The BLS (Basic Life Support) course is essential for anyone who may witness a life-threatening emergency, as quick and effective actions can significantly improve a patient’s chances of survival.

During the course, you will learn how to:

• assess an adult patient for safety, responsiveness, and breathing;

• correctly activate emergency medical services;

• perform high-quality chest compressions;

• provide ventilation using a bag-valve-mask (BVM);

• operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED);

• place an unconscious, breathing patient in the recovery position;

• manage choking in adults;

• apply BLS considerations specific to pregnant patients;

• provide first aid in drowning.

The Ukrainian Resuscitation Council (URC) is the official provider of ERC courses in Ukraine.
